Elizabeth K. Dabney was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and has never strayed far from home. She graduated with a major in history and a minor in economics from the University of Virginia and accepted a full merit scholarship to Washington & Lee University School of Law. While still in law school, Elizabeth interned with the Commonwealth's Attorney in Petersburg and Central Virginia Legal Aid before joining the Community Legal Practice Center in her third year. Her experiences in school and her desire to be in the courtroom as much as possible led her to pursue work in family and criminal law. Elizabeth is an active member of the Virginia State Bar and a certified guardianad litem for children.
